Our Evergreen Retreat Rental Unit is located on our Homestead. Stay and play at Evergreen Farm on nearly 20 acres of land. Help yourself to farm fresh organic eggs from our 10 chickens. Pet and play with our 2 goats Bambi and Pumpkin! Explore the 20 acres of forest and farm land. Go for a hike or a bike ride or take it easy and sit out on your private walk around porch (screened in) and overlook the huge forest in front of you. Encounter deer and wild turkey. Have a camp fire, play games or hunt for a treasure with the provided metal detector. Enjoy the quiet only the country can offer you. At night glance up to look at an amazing clear view of the stars!
Our fully updated Evergreen Retreat Rental Unit features new flooring, updated kitchen and paint and each room has a flat screen television. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware, everything you need to feel at home. Free Wifi is included along with access to 1000’s of Movies and TV shows through Netflix, HBO and Amazon Prime. For your entertainment, the main living room features a Wii U with many games. The “Arcade” guest room features a “free-play” classic stand up arcade with over 60 classics games like Space Invaders, PacMan, Centipede and more. The “Arcade” guest room also features an original Atari 2600 with games like Asteroid, Donkey Kong, Missile Command and more. To top it off this room also has a Nintendo Entertainment System. Play all the originals (Mario 1,2,3 and many more) or play the new games own the Wii U!
Take a walk downstairs to our homestead store where we hand create custom made items, right here on our homestead.
Enjoy our homestead and our cozy little town of Montello. Located less than 40 minutes to Wisconsin Dells! Montello has lakes around every corner for fishing or exploring. Downtown Montello (and our one stop light intersection) has a great one show movie theater with a new movie each week. Popcorn is only about $2, Candy $1… the prices are amazing (Only $5 per ticket) and it is a great place for a date night or fun to bring the entire family without breaking the bank. Before the movie stop in at our favorite place to eat (anywhere on planet Earth), Charlottes Rendezvous Cafe (who also offers canoe and tubing trips down the Fox river). They have the best pizza we have ever eaten as well as burgers, paninis and an amazing fish fry that should not be missed. Later stroll past the historic waterfalls and stop downtown at the old fashion candy and ice cream store- take a step back in time in this lovely little candy store and ice cream shop.
